So Bored!!

Wow! So, today was a pretty boring day, although I definitely caught up on some sleep. Rick didn't have to go in to work until around 12 O'Clock, so he got up and took Toby to his last day of daycare and I slept in until around 11! The only sucky thing about that was that I was so concerned about getting sick since I skipped breakfast that I kept waking up and thinking I should get up and eat something... Oh well! I didn't get out of bed til 11, and then I turned on The View and puked and ate some soup and I was OK. On The View, Sherri Shepherd's hair reminded me of the inside of brownies, so of course I just HAD to make some brownies!! I wanted to let them cool, so when I took them out of the oven I headed back to bed (I think it was around 1:30), and then slept til 4:3o. I actually had planned to sleep til closer to 5 or 5:30, but I had to go pick Toby up from daycare by 6:00 and I didn't want to scrape all the snow off my car in the dark, so I went downstairs around 5. Then I went and picked up Toby and we ate some delicious brownies and made grilled cheese sandwiches, and that brings me to right now! Lol! We are watching Wow! Wow! Wubzy! on Noggin, which I am ashamed to say I am really into! Haha! Anyway, now Toby and I are just sitting around waiting for Ashlyn to get here with her 2 friends, and Rick to get off work (he'll be home around 9:30ish). Hopefully we will all play some Hide and Seek later on! Well, I am going to get off here! Talk to y'all later!!

Aww! How Sweet! My First Blog!

So, this is my first blog on here!! I was inspired to start a blog here by my pal Shay, and I think it's actually pretty cool! I can't really think of anything to consistently write about, so I guess I will just write about whatever comes to mind!! Right now there's a lot to write about!! I just got laid off from my job, so my last day was today. It was actually pretty good timing since I haven't been feeling well (I will get to that in a minute!) and Toby seems to be getting ready to potty train seriously, so I'll be able to devote time to get that taken care of. I'm sick because I am 11 weeks pregnant, and I am one of those unlucky people who gets morning sickness REALLY badly. So badly, in fact, that I spent several hours in the hospital on an IV a few weeks ago to get re-hydrated!! They put me on one medication, which really didn't help me at all, then switched me over to Zofran, which works really well! I can finally eat, although not like I could before I got pregnant. I will take what I can get though, because before eating or drinking ANYTHING was a huge struggle for me. Anyway, I have lost about 12 lbs. now, which I think will be good for me even though it sucks while losing. Other than the morning sickness, I am also FREAKISHLY itchy right now, which could be because of the winter weather and dry air, and I have a couple other rather unpleasant symptoms that I would rather not disclose... ; )

Let's see... What else is going on in my life right now... I am still going to school, unfortunately, but I only have three more classes to go, so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now!! I am going to the University of Phoenix, and all my classes are completely online, which works great with my schedule. I only take one class at a time, and each class lasts 5 weeks. I started with the University of Phoenix in July of 2006 and should graduate in May of 2008, so I guess that's just shy of 2 years! It doesn't seem like it's been that long, though, and I can hardly wait to officially be a college graduate!!

Ok, well speaking of school, I guess I better login to my classroom and do some participation posts, so I am going to get off here now! Hopefully I will be on here to chat more later!!
